Service Pack 9.2.1.5 – Upcoming Release Notes
Service Pack 9.2.1.5 is currently in testing and is expected to be released in early January. Below is a summary of improvements and fixes included in this update.
Budget and Reporting Improvements
Budget Export Accuracy
We corrected an issue that prevented the Budget Export from properly pulling Church Body and Responsibility Codes. These codes now load as expected, ensuring accurate reporting.
Offerings Grid Printout
When printing the Offerings grid by date, reports were mistakenly grouped by fund. This issue has been fixed so your printed reports now match the on-screen view.
Contributions and Offerings Fixes
Large Clean‑Up Deletions
Deleting more than 300,000 offerings in the Contributions clean‑up utility could cause a “running out of locks” error. This has been resolved for smoother large‑scale data maintenance.
Note Copying Issue
When copying an Offering, Pledge, Gift‑in‑Kind, or Recurrent Offering record that contained a note, the note was previously duplicated and linked to multiple records. The system now clears notes when copying a record to prevent crosslinks.
Attendance Module
Explore Tab Refresh Issue
In Attendance, navigating to Explore → By person/type and then changing the Type did not update the grid right away. The grid now refreshes correctly when the Type filter is changed.
Check Printing Enhancements
Some users with smaller display resolutions reported that the starting check number or check date fields were partially hidden. While resetting window sizes or closing the Favorites panel could fix it, we have also reduced the spacing between controls to make these fields more accessible.
Note: The recommended minimum resolution is 1920 × 1080. Screens with lower resolution may continue to have display limitations due to reduced space.
Database and Connectivity
“Check My Connections” Tool
The database location check in the “Check my connections” tool was incorrectly returning the error, “No value given for one or more required parameters.” This issue has been fixed.
Unite Sync Certificate Warning
We resolved the message stating, “The certificate does not match Concordia Publishing House as it is CN=.church360.app” when syncing with Unite. The certificate now validates correctly.
Data Entry and Import Fixes
Fund Number Entry
When adding or editing a Contribution fund, pasting letters into the “Fund number” field caused an error. The system now handles this scenario properly and prevents the error message.
Vanco Import Fund Name Length
If Vanco was set up with the giving fund name in the “fund ID” field, and the name exceeded 20 characters, an error appeared during import. This has been corrected for better handling of incorrectly formatted Vanco data.
Envelope Number Entry – New Contributors
Copying and pasting non‑numeric text into the Current or Upcoming envelope number fields could cause various errors. These issues have been fixed so the system provides clearer feedback when invalid data is pasted.
Envelope Number Entry – Existing Contributors
The same errors occurred when editing envelope numbers on existing Contributor records. This has also been resolved.
Number‑Only Fields
Pasting non‑numeric text into number‑only fields—such as the Document Number on Payments, Receipts, or Journal Entries—followed by pressing the UP or DOWN arrow, caused a formatting error. The system now displays a clear message telling you the pasted text is not a valid number.
