Service Pack 9.2.1.4 Release Notes
This update includes important fixes and cosmetic improvements across Finance, General Ledger, Photos, the Dashboard, and Directory reports. Below is a list of the changes included in this release.
General Ledger and Finance Fixes
General Ledger Detail Activity Report
- Correct prior-year balances:
For organizations using non‑calendar fiscal years, selecting a report date from a prior fiscal year now displays the correct account balance as of that date rather than the beginning balance of the current fiscal year.
General Ledger Formatting
- Improved spacing between document number and date:
The report now displays dates using a two‑digit year format to prevent overlap with the document number.
Finance Accounts Tree
- Improved drag‑and‑drop behavior:
Users can no longer drag a Minor group into another Minor group or drag one account under another. These actions previously generated errors and are now properly restricted.
Finance Restore
- Finance‑only restore reliability improved:
Restoring finance-only data now works even when the finance database’s GUID does not match the GUID of the main database.
PO Category
- Purchase Order category selection now saves correctly.
Offering and Transactions
- Offering Batch Entry stability improved:
Fixed an error that could occur when closing the Offering Batch Entry window. - Transaction line navigation corrected:
An error that appeared when clicking the Up or Down buttons on a new payment, receipt, or journal entry (before adding lines) has been resolved. - Finance checkout warning cleaned up:
The message that displays when Finance is checked out no longer includes placeholder text such as “<USER>” or “<DATE>.”
Photos and Image Tools
- Thumbnail image now updates properly:
When loading a new household or person photo, the small square thumbnail now updates right away without requiring users to use the crop tool. - F1 Help article access restored in photo editor.
- Memory-related errors resolved:
Addressed an issue where an “Out of memory” message could appear while using the Household/Person photo editor.
Reports and Directories
- Directory fields now appear correctly:
In two‑column Church Directory formats (with or without photos), the Ministry Group and Person Assigned fields now display when selected. - Clearer wording on Dedicated Accounts reports:
For non‑calendar fiscal years, report headings now clearly reflect the intended fiscal year.
Example: A fiscal year running 7/1/25–6/30/26, printed in November 2025, will now read:
“Dedicated Accounts Activity for 2026 as of 11/30/2025.”
Dashboard Enhancements
- F1 Help shortcut on the Dashboard now works correctly.
- Upcoming Activities error fixed:
If the Dashboard had no upcoming activities, users previously saw an error related to an invalid SelectedIndex value. This issue has been corrected.
