Shepherd's Staff 2025 Version (9.1.7), release 20250415
CONTRIBUTIONS
Fixed
- If a contributor was deleted and their giving history was assigned to Anonymous (both before and after the update), those corrected records will now appear in the Offerings grid.
FINANCE
Fixed
- Users can now edit line item descriptions for cleared or otherwise locked Journal Entries.
- Users can now edit line item descriptions for cleared or otherwise locked Receipts.
- When editing a line in a Payment, Receipt, or Journal entry, and using the ENTER key to access the item rather than double-clicking with the mouse, the grid no longer highlights skipped rows instead of going to the next item.
Feature
- We've improved the TAB order and focus when editing payment, receipt, and journal entry line items. The focus now starts on the amount, which is the most likely value you want to change.
- When adding attachments to payments, receipts and journal entries, if there is a duplicate file name already in the Attachments it will automatically append a unique date/time stamp to the new file name so that it doesn't overwrite the other file.
- Users can now reposition the line items within a payment, receipt, or journal entry.
GENERAL
Fixed
- In the report favorites in all modules, if users choose to manually sort the reports, then modifies one and chooses to overwrite it, it lost its position in the list and moved towards the top of the reports, forcing you to move it back to the original position.
- When upgrading from 8.9 to 9.0 to 9.1, an error was occurring during the 9.0 stage.
- In the Task Manager, sometimes changes users made reverted on the screen, even though they saved correctly in the database.
- In the Task Manager, if a user set a template to repeat "On Date(s)", picked "On the nth of every n", and picked a period other than "month", when they returned to the template it showed "month" instead (even though the option did save correctly).
- When adding a template in the Task Manager, users could get the error, "String was not recognized as a valid DateTime."
Cosmetic
- In the Task Manager, if users repeated a template for "On event", the "Stop repeating on" date box appeared even though it is not relevant to event triggers.
