When you are entering an offering batch, you might notice a "Distribute" button next to the "Add" button when entering offerings for some of your givers. This "Distribute" button is a function specifically for givers who have pledges to multiple funds at once. If a giver would like their offering they give to be split amongst the funds that they have pledges for, the "Distribute" function will split their offering proportionally, according to the amount and frequency of their pledges.
An example of this in action is, if a giver has a pledge where they give $50 dollars a week to the General Fund, and $100 dollars a month to the Mission fund, over the same one year time period, and they give $100 dollars, selecting the giver, and one of the funds they give to, entering the amount they gave in total, and then clicking the distribute button would enter two offerings, one for $68.42 to the General Fund and $31.58 to the Mission fund.
