What do I get with my Support Plan?

A support plan gives you many resources and advantages to make your church's usage of Shepherd's Staff easier and more productive.

  1. Unlimited access to our Shepherd's Staff support team

You can get in touch with the support team 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time, Monday–Friday. Call them at (800) 346-6120 or email them at support@cts.cph.org. Our support team can provide answers to questions you have, such as how to use Shepherd's Staff, how to set up a report to get the information you need, or how to set up Shepherd's Staff to work on your church's network.

  1. Updates to Shepherd's Staff as soon as they're released

Get access to the most advanced and up-to-date version of the software as soon as it releases. All new updates for Shepherd's Staff can be downloaded from within Shepherd's Staff itself. If you have an active support contract and have registered your database, the Automatic Updater utility can detect which version of Shepherd's Staff you're using and download the appropriate update for you.

  1. Access to the web portal, Shepherd’s Staff WebTools

WebTools allows you to record attendance and contribution batches online. This saves time for church staff by making it easier for volunteers to help with these tasks. No confidential data is stored online, and the data from the web easily syncs with what is stored on your computer. WebTools requires an active Shepherd's Staff support plan to access.

  1. Storage of backups with Concordia Technology Solutions for an additional level of security

In the event of a disaster, CTS can recover your latest backup and get your church office running again. All backups are encrypted, and a copy is saved to your PC. You can contact CTS during normal business hours to obtain a copy of your backup. Cloud-based backups of your Shepherd's Staff database require that you have an active support plan.

  1. Training videos

Supported customers can access training videos within Shepherd's Staff. These videos are recordings of webinars, and they provide an easy way to learn the ins and outs of using each module.

  1. Discounts on live webinars and in-house seminars

A support contract gives you a discounted rate for live, hands-on training, either here at Concordia Publishing House or online. These trainings are led by our customer onboarding specialist or a software-support technician.
