Once you create recurrent offering templates, when these templates come due, you will need to generate these templates to create the offering records they would produce. This happens in the Generate Recurring Offerings window.
- In Contributions, go to Giving>Recurrent Offerings, and then, at the bottom of the Recurring Offerings grid, click the "Generate" button.
- In the window that appears, in the "Generate for" box, select "All of the displayed templates" if you want to generate all the recurring offering templates that are showing in the grid below. If you only want to generate select templates, click the "Only the highlighted templates" option.
- If you chose the "Only the highlighted templates" option, you can select multiple templates by holding down the CTRL key on your keyboard as you click on each template in the grid. If you want to select a range of templates click on the first template you want to select, and then hold down the Shift key on your keyboard, and then click on the last template you want to select. This will select all templates between the first and last templates you selected.
- Click the "Continue" button and at the window that appears, confirm the number of templates you are generating and click "Yes" to generate your offerings. These offerings will appear as offering batches for you to post in the Batches grid.
