Shepherd's Staff 2024 Version (9.0.0), release 20240228

Note: Starting with service pack (20240228), you will see an extra digit in the Release version number. This is called the "build" number. The build number will increase for each 9.1 service pack we release, e.g., 9.1.1, 9.1.2, 9.1.11.  It will remain as 0 for all 9.0 service packs (since those are still using InstallShield).  The YYYYMMDD version number will continue to be used in 9.1. This provides two indicators of the software version on the customer's PC: an installer version (the build number) and a date of release (the product version number).

Fixed

ATTENDANCE

  • If you entered an attendance batch for 1/7/24, it was appearing on the Dashboard under the week of 12/31/23 when you viewed the Weekly by Type and Weekly by Event dashboard tabs.

CONTRIBUTIONS

  • If you entered an offering batch for 1/7/24, it was appearing on the Dashboard under the week of 12/31/23 when you viewed the "Weekly giving".

FINANCE

  • If you add a payment and use the "Get last payment" button, but the bank account from which you are paying is in a different Book than the bank account of the last payment to this vendor, you would end up with line items from one Book being saved against a bank account in a different Book. The process now tests against the Book number, so that it will ignore payments made to a vendor in a different Book.
  • On the following two versions of the Treasurers Reports, when including Dedicated In/Out, the "remaining" columns for month and year-to-date differences were not calculating for Dedicated In and Dedicated Out: "Current month, YTD, budget remaining", and "Current month, YTD, annual budget rem.".

Change

FINANCE

  • You can now size the Purchase Order window higher so that you can show more PO rows at one time.
  • When using the "Move" utility on the Accounts tree, it was not allowing you to move to the "00" Minor group under a Major group (Minor 00 was not included in the choices). Furthermore, if you picked a Major group that had nothing but Minor 00 under it, the Minor group combobox was empty, causing the error "InvalidArgument=Value of '0' is not a valid for 'SelectedIndex'."

Cosmetic

FINANCE

  • The "print grid" reports for the following Finance grids have been have been tweaked for spacing and appearance: All Accounts, Assets, Liabilities, Equity, Income, Expense, Dedicated.
